School Bus Body Paint Job and Mural
After painting my own school bus in a quick 3-day sprint before a nomad festival in La Paz, B.C.S, I had vowed to never put myself through something like that again… And then I met Dre, a lovely nomad with a yellow school bus who happened to run into me at said festival. She loved what I was doing with my bus and asked if I could make her ugly yellow skoolie pretty, and of course I obliged. I have to say, to this day, her bus is one of the projects I’m most fond of. I fully sanded, primed, and painted her bus in 4 days in the desert, and then we ended up traveling all over the peninsula exploring beaches, waterfalls, and endless sketchy roads while I painted what is now the beautiful tropical scene she has on her iconic purple and cream bus! It’s going to take a lot to top the amount of fun and adventure that this job brought me! After this project, I had a complete change of heart and am so looking forward to painting my next rig!
