El Patronato Cibao de Rehabilitación

This mural was donated and decorates the lobby of El Patronato Cibao de Rehabilitación in Moca, DR. This place is really special and is run on donations from the community. I got to meet all the staff and some of the people from the community who are receiving care there, and it meant so much to me to be part of the amazing work they are doing. The saying painted on this mural, “De las dificultades surgeon los milagros,” means "from difficulties, miracles arise.” This project and how it was received really inspired me, and I am very grateful to have been allowed to play a small part in a place that is doing such an amazing job at serving their community.
